Communities into Training and Employment (CITE)
CITE needed a one-page leaflet in super quick time to promote a training programme they were running. Within a week we'd written, designed and sent the leaflet to print.
The challenge
To write a leaflet promoting a CITE training course to get people from disadvantaged backgrounds into work. There were two major challenges.
1. CITE came to us on a Monday and needed to have the leaflet finalised and printed by the end of the week.
2. Budget was limited.
Our role
We put together a quote, timetable and brief for CITE straight away and worked with our contact there to make sure we met her needs.
We began writing the leaflet on a Monday, had it designed by Wednesday, proofread on Thursday and it was being handed out by CITE by the Friday. We also produced a jpeg version of the leaflet so CITE could send it out to their contacts by email.
Because we're a relatively large team, we could get started straight away, delivering the publication to the tightest of deadlines.
Our impact
When CITE contacted us, after seeing our director Gideon Burrows deliver a workshop at an NCVO conference, it was a particularly busy week for them. They needed expert support in a very short space of time and there was no capacity within their organisation to do this sort of work.
CITE were really pleased with the service we offered. Everything came back on deadline, within budget and as asked for.
Catherine Froggatt, Information Advice and Guidance Manager at CITE, said:
"I really can't thank you enough for the work you did on the leaflet and the time in which you managed to turn it around. It was a pleasure dealing with you. I never felt any sense of stress within your team and nothing was too much trouble.
"The project manager was perfection. Nothing could have been improved. Apologies for gushing. I just thought you offered the most fantastic service and it isn't often that you can say that about an organisation!"
