This is an exciting opportunity to work for this well-known Children and Family Charity based in Acton as a Policy Researcher. You will develop policy documents and briefings on baby feeding, transition to parenthood and inequalities issues. You will provide an informed user perspective to government, healthcare organisations, the voluntary sector and the media. You will be representing the interests, experiences and view of parents, and babies as appropriate. You will carry out research projects using appropriate design, methods, analysis and report writing, compiling with legal and ethical requirements. You will write articles, letters, conference papers and chapters for publication to further the Charity's aims and objectives. You will speak on behalf of the Charity at external meetings, conferences and seminars.

You will have a relevant masters degree, PhD or equivalent.
You will have experience of planning and implementing effective policy, research and projects.
You will have knowledge of women’s health, breastfeeding and/or health services issues.
