We are looking to recruit a temporary Senior PR Manager working within the Charity Sector.
Key responsibilities and duties: The PR Manager is the key player in networking and building relations with the media, recruiting and managing celebrity support, as well as anticipating and managing any potential media crisis. The post holder is also responsible for the effective implementation of integrated media campaigns, identifying key media targets and developing creative ways to engage them. We are looking for somebody who can develop the national media front as well as the Campaigns/Lobbying.
Candidates will ideally be someone who can pick up the reins on key projects and deliver against tight deadlines. Experience of planning and delivery of campaigns/ projects with strong event management skills and an eye for detail essential. Strong media relations - both proactive and reactive, Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with people at all levels.
You must have good knowledge of UK media and how it operates and works. Able to work on own initiative, take direction and work as part of a team, someone that will fit well within the Communications team and wider charity.
Hourlt rate £20.00 (can be negotiable)
