Free ethical business advice

Budding ethical entrepreneurs have the opportunity to get one-to-one advice from a top young green business expert.

Kresse Wesling, an eco-entrepreneur with three successful businesses under her belt, will host one-to-one business advice sessions at the British Library’s Business and IP Centre.

"All budding ethical entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply for a one-to-one session," says Suvi Kankainen, press officer at the British Library. "Kresse is passionate about what she does, is very successful and has great insight into the world of ethical business. She is a resourceful and inspirational Canadian eco-entrepreneur who has successfully combined serious business acumen with ethical thinking."

Kresse founded her first company, Bio-Supplies, in 2002. The packaging company works with leading supermarkets, cosmetic companies, department stores and the food industry to create biodegradable packaging alternatives. Moving from one ethical venture to another, in 2004 she started Babaloo, a company that aims to provide ethical and environmental products for parents and babies that are high quality, cost effective and in high demand.

Her most recent enterprise is called EAKO. The company turns industrial waste into innovative lifestyle products and returns 50 per cent of profits to the charities and organisations related to the waste.

Ethical entrepreneurs who feel that they would benefit from a one-to-one advice session with Kresse are asked to explain, in more than 200 words, what they hope to gain from an advice session.
