Bright young ethical entrepreneurs hoping to become the next Jamie Olivers and Anita Roddicks are to receive a boost on 15th November as Social Enterprise Minister Phil Hope backs a unique showcase of young ethical businesses.

The Minister is to speak at The Future Face of Social Business event, an exhibition of up-and-coming social businesses in areas such as ethical fashion, responsible travel, organic food and social media.

The show will be the flagship event of Social Enterprise Day, part of the government-backed Enterprise Week.

Heather Wilkinson, founder of Striding Out, the business network for social businesses behind the event, said: “The Future Face of Social Business will, for the first time, bring together some of the brightest sparks in new ethical businesses to learn from each other, do business and to showcase their products and services to the wider world.”

As well as showcasing an exciting range of new ethical products and services, the event aims to inspire, educate and inform people – especially young people both in and out of education.

The young entrepreneurs exhibiting at the show are keen to answer questions, offer advice and share information about career and self-employment opportunities in the social enterprise and ethical business sector.

Exhibitors will include award winning responsible travel company Blue Ventures, fair-trade fashion designers Amana and goodone, eco-community pioneers Tribewanted, and ethical media company ngo.media

The Future Face of Social Business is organised by Striding Out, which provides coaching to young entrepreneurs, with partners including ethicalcareers.org and Your Ethical Business.
