ethicalcareers.org is looking forward to meeting site visitors at a massive October recruitment event to be held in the capital. forum3 is the UK’s only recruitment event for the not-for-profit sector and offers ethicalcareers.org a real showcase for our fabulous books and website. Come and meet us at stand 82 in the Business Design Centre, Islington, London. We’ll have copies of The Ethical Careers Guide and Your Ethical Business for sale and will be happy to answer any questions you might have about ethical careers. The Ethical Careers Guide is a comprehensive handbook on working in charities, ethical and environmental careers. Packed full of useful advice, interesting case studies and top tips, the 194-page guide is the perfect way to narrow down your ethical job search. The second book we publish, Your Ethical Business, is a unique “how to” guide covering everything you need to know about starting and succeeding in your own ethical enterprise. ethicalcareers.org will also be hosting three seminars at the two-day event, which takes place on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 October. Site founder and editor of The Ethical Careers Guide, Gideon Burrows, will be hosting a seminar on “Choosing an ethical career – questions to ask yourself and your employer”. We’re also running a seminar on ethical business and getting into international development. There’ll be 150 organisations represented at the event offering numerous job and volunteering opportunities. These include social enterprises, international development and community regeneration organisations, local authorities and housing associations. forum3 is a great opportunity for ethical job seekers to meet exhibitors face to face to find out more about the organisations which they represent.
