Paul Allen is a freelance writer and author. His work has appeared in The Times, Evening Standard, New Internationalist and Social Enterprise magazine, among other publications.

After visiting the Gower Peninsula in 1994, Paul decided to read a BA in modern languages and business studies at the University of Wales in Swansea. His first career move took him to Heidelberg, Germany, where he worked as a translator. Two years later, he returned to the UK to study journalism.

Today, he lives and works in East London, where he writes about social, ethical and environmental issues for the national and international press.

In 2006, he was the features editor of the Ethical Careers Guide, published by ngo.media.
