The short answer to this is no. It might be beneficial to join the Development Studies Association (DSA) which is open to anybody with an interest in development.

They have over 1,000 membrs, mainly made up of individuals and institutions from the academic and NGO sectors and it’s a good way to network and for students and employers to mix. Visit their website at www.devstud.org.uk.

experiencedevelopment.org is in the process of establishing an online forum later this year, through which you can post your questions to a host of development professionals as well as other people in a similar situation. Keep an eye on the website for more information.
