What to put on your CV
I am applying to work in the sustainability department of a major consultancy firm, but in my spare time I am a radical activist. Should I put this on my CV?

You need to think carefully about your values and what kind of work you are suited to. If you want radical, rapid change then perhaps consultancy is not for you.

If you still decide that this is the job for you then keep activism to a minimum on your CV, although any voluntary experience is worth keeping. You can save your radical views for later, once you’ve got the job and people will listen. Although if activism is such a big part of your life, do you really feel happy approaching an organisation that might not respect that and won’t make the most of your enthusiasm and experience?
