Often it’s down to habit and picking the familiar brand. Find out who is responsible for office purchasing and raise the agenda at your next office meeting. You could even set up an anonymous sheet where staff can vote in favour or against.

Fairtrade coffee and tea are now available in most supermarkets or you can buy direct from Clipper Tea, Café Direct or online through Oxfam. Make sure whoever usually does the purchasing is aware of these details so they can continue the good work when you leave.
