Matt Chittock has worked for ngo.media since summer 2008. He brings a decade’s worth of editing, subbing and writing experience to ngo.media. Since kicking off his career as a journalist and copywriter, he has written about everything from environmentally friendly sex to musicians who help rehabilitate young offenders by taking punk rock into prisons.

WORK HISTORY
- Writer/Editor, ngo.media. Matt is responsible for taking briefs from clients, project management, and delivering high quality web copy, publications and other creative solutions. Alongside the rest of the team, he has managed projects for the Drinkaware Trust, Alzheimer’s Society and NAM.
- Freelance journalist and subeditor. National and local newspapers, magazines and websites. Matt wrote and edited news and features for a range of publications including The Big Issue, The Guardian, Marie Claire, Metro, Mixmag, Organic Life, Youthnet.org – and a whole host of trade magazines.
- Freelance copywriter and editor, IPC Media. Matt took briefs from high profile global clients and translated them into quality copy with effective heads and sells. He also edited copy on page using InDesign.
- Subeditor and writer, Natural Products magazine. Matt proofread and edited copy for a monthly B2B magazine and website aimed at the organic and natural retail sector. He wrote profiles of ethical businesses and news on fair trade issues, food trends and natural beauty.
